if we do manage to win the number 1 pick, i'll be in line to drive Jose to airport as much as i like him. The choice between them is not a very hard one at all

Trading Wallace for Bargnani really isn't that bad of a trade for the Bobcats. Bargnani would be able to play his natural position while Okafor mans the 5 spot. Not only that, but they get solid return on a guy who they are obviously shopping and interested in moving. Wallace's contract is becoming a burden, and I'm sure Charlotte will bite on any cap relief, young prospect, draft picks, or combination of the 3.

That being said, their contracts don't match and there's no way BC pulls the trigger on Wallace when he clearly does not fit the plan for 2010. I'm sure Colangelo is willing to scrap the 2010 plan if the right deal comes along, but with the combination of Wallace's contract and injury history, BC would likely pass.

That would be the ideal transaction.

Trade Bargs + Graham + Hump + pick for Wallace, sign Dice.

But Colangelo and Gheradini will not admit Bargs is a bust.

Yeah, and the cookie's already got quite the chip-on-his-shoulder going for him...
