 never heard that one before. I know what I'm using to piss off Blazer fans now.

:eek1: I don't understand how a Raptor fan can go and make fun of anything about the Blazers.

What sucks is we are as limited by our flaws on the court as we are on the market in our ability to change the situation. Our best hope comes from a bunch of young players who either are tepid prospects at best (Joey, Ukic) or the kind of talent we exactly don't need (Bargnani). So it's this; blasée blasée, another year of mediocrity? I dunno. Would a coaching change do anything really? I dunno. We are the white suburban angst'ers of the NBA. Ugh.

Usually I am more hopeful than this early in the year but damn am I sick of watching them get exposed for the same flaw time and again. Tonight even had a few surprises. Jose, running the most pedestrian offense I've seen from us in a while... Actually that's about the only surprise.

Wow 5 games into the season and we're already throwing this team off a cliff what fans we are eh! Still something needs to get done on our wing position either by the trade deadline, free agency or the draft. Realistically our chance of getting a wing without shorting our bench anymore is free agency or the draft.

If we had Iggy there would be no Roy, JO, Bargs or even Hump (wasnt he traded for Hoffa?)

The problem we have has existed ever since Vince Carter was traded.

I never understood why he made the O'Neal trade if he didn't have a followup trade to fix our perimeter problems. If we want to win, you trade Bargnani... if you want to hope Bargnani develops into an above average player you trade O'Neal and watch Bosh walk in 2010. If he won't do either, he's just negating everything he's done so far. Can you say treadmill?

Yup. It's like the TJ/Jose situation. We need to consolidate our assets and put our talent into the starting line-up. I consider myself a Bargnani supporter, but I think a trade has to be made for this team to move ahead. I would rather get rid of Kapono, but I don't think anyone's going to bite.

The only reason why JO might be a better trade asset is because of his contract. We might be able to get a few nice pieces for the contracts to match up.

You don't know that...and I don't know that...

Hoffa was drafted one spot before IGGY. It was the obvious safe pick. Athletic SG/SF, compared to a big stiff...who couldn't make a layup.

Unfortunely if you draft Iggy you don't end up with Roy or JO, probably not BC either.

I'll be willing to bet I'm older than you kid, and nice logic on your comment.

Celtics would beat the Raptors in a 7 game series. I guess I should go join the Celtics board now.
