i thought i'd just share this story. i was just at markville mall in markham and like around 3 ish me and my buddy were walking out through the bay exit and i see this guy who looked familiar. i couldn't see his face cuz he was pickin up something from the toddler cart. then he was walking by me and i'm like "sherm, hey man big fan" he just said thanx and i was like i can't believe we lost last night and he said he it was boston. i wanted to talk to him more but he was with his wife and kid so i didnt wanna intrude their shopping. but overall a pretty nice guy and not that tall. im 5'11 and he was prolly like an inch taller. i shook his hand and he said i appreciate it and all and then i just left. i never would have thought i'd say someone from the raps organization in markham.

LOL, exactly the way I remember him too. He wouldn't usually play in the pick-up games, he'd go there and shoot around a lot though. To be honest, he's not the most athletic guy and is only a decent shooter, I was a bit surprised at how he was able to play on the National Team given his skill level from what I've seen of him.

I saw him at the home opener doing his thing for Raptors TV. There was this guy who was constantly shouting, "Hey look its Bruce Bowen! Bruuuce!" just joking around. The guy was yelling for like 2 minutes straight in front of him. You could tell Sherm was getting upset. He couldn't do anything cause he was on live TV at the time.
