http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/jawai_121708.htmlThe Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday that forward-centre Nathan Jawai (JA-why) has been cleared to begin physical activity. Jawai has been sidelined since training camp.
Obviously this isn't anything to get excited about in terms of wins and losses, but great news for the kid. Hopefully he can put these medical concerns behind him...

Wow, that's incredibly great news!!! We all know he's not some top tier prospect or anything, but how can anyone not get excited for a young 6'10', 270 lbs. monster to bang in the post? I can't wait to see him in garbage minutes!

I am happiest for him. He sounds like a great guy and even if he has a marginal NBA career, or just becomes a better minor leaguer, it's a better life than being a 6'10" burger flipper.

I have high hopes for JAWS. Hopefully he could learn from JO and be a real big, aggresive, physical, defensive presence down low for us in the future. Something like Perkins.
