Tonight's Games Discussion (January 9th)

Post#1 » by youngLion » Sat Jan 9, 2010 3:25 pm

7 PM
Memphis @ Charlotte
Atlanta @ Orlando

7:30 PM
Philadelphia @ Detroit

8 PM
Minnesota @ Chicago
Indiana @ Oklahoma City

8:30 PM
Utah @ Dallas
New York @ Houston

10 PM
Denver @ Sacramento

What'll you guys be watching? The Hawks in Orlando certainly seems to be the pick of the litter for the early games so I'm going to make that my priority. Hopefully Orlando can hand Atlanta a loss and put the Raps a little closer to that 4th seed. I know it's unlikely, but a guy and hope. I'll also probably flip around to the games in OKC and Dallas as the come on. Dallas is a team that interests me because of Kidd's ability to remain effective as he gets older and older, and they're also one of the deepest teams in the league, maybe even second after Orlando. They've easily got 12-13 really solid or better players on that roster.

There's just the one late game but it should be a good one. Denver is sort of the team I cheer for out west so I'm always happy to watch them, and I also want to see more of Tyreke as I've only watched him a few times outside of highlights.

maaaaaan, memphis/charlotte is a game i was really looking forward to but i'll be on teh road and i'm gonna miss that game. atlanta/orlando is hella interesting too. and any sac-town home game is usually amazing.

solid day of games. btw, am i the only one who can't wtch utah?? utah/portland are probably the only two teams in the league i can't stand.

Im def. gonna watch Denver vs Sacramento, since Denver is my favorite team w/ Raptors, and I've become a fan of Evans...I hope Melo and Ty will play as well

I might also watch Magic vs Hawks if I was home, but yeah those are the only two interesting games for me tonight

Oh snap I almost forgot: Chuck is hosting SNL tonight, that's gonna be better than any late game.

Or, ya know, a total flop. Should be entertaining either way though.

The Magic bench is rolling over the Hawks. Anderson has had a big game. Its funny, while Shard was out on his suspension Anderson was averaging 15 & 5, which is pretty much exactly what Lewis is giving them now. What an absurd deal.

OMG! JR Smith just made the worst play in the history of basketball. Tyreke Evans took a heat check three, it barely hit the rim and Smith who rebounded the ball thought that the shot was made and went on to inbound the play by stepping out of bounds. He was standing right under the basket and couldn't tell if the ball went in lol
