It was Antoine Wright’s birthday, and the rookie had to sing Happy Birthday to him. He enlisted the help of the kids that were watching, but Jarrett Jack quickly stepped in to tell DeMar he had to dance as well. After the birthday wishes and a couple of dance moves, the guys grabbed Antoine, took him to the ground and wrapped his arms and legs in athletic tape. I guess that’s how they are doing birthdays in Raptorsland this season.
I loved Wright in the first game against Cleveland, then obviously his popularity died somewhere along the way.
But with his recent improved play and the fact that he's all of sudden money with that corner 3, I hope we don't let him go before the trade deadline unless it's a trade that HAS to be made. Wright will play a big role for us in the playoffs if we want to do well. He's the best weapon we have when it comes to guarding Paul Pierce/LBJ/Carter/JJ.
