The Kings should really be looking to dump Martin ASAP. It's becoming very clear that Martin and Evans can't coexist and with all of Martins injury problems I think its the right time to move on.

woah...

No, but he would have kidnapped Kevin McHale before his meeting with Joe Smith's agent.

#Raptors are 7-1. In 6 of the past 10 seasons, a team that has started a season 7-1 has gone on to win an NBA championship.

Prolly not, but just throwing it out there.

A kenyon martin and rasheed wallace front court would be funny to see, how many technicals would those to get?

I think Martin is heavily underrated by this board.

Boston is a better - or at worst, equal - team with Kevin Martin instead of well-past-his-prime Ray Allen. It's also a HUGE long term improvement that keeps them relevant past this core. KG hasn't been looking so great either, so starting to plan for the future would be very wise roster management imo.

Why would Boston do this?! It makes them worse immediately AND for the long term. It kills their cap flexibility and they miss out on Ray for the playoffs. Say what you will about his decline, but he would be very useful for them in the playoffs. Martin can't seem to get defence or shot selection into his head.

This is a steal for Sac IMO. Im not sure they will get a lot for Martin anywhere, but a huge expiring is pretty good.

They do the trade, Ray Ray signs back in the off-season for the MLE. They get K-Mart and Ray Ray.

Since when does Weems bring any kind of defense to the court anyway?

I hope collangelo is trying to acquire martin. Alot of hate for martin on the board but its only contending teams trying to trade for him. I wonder why the contending teams usually stay contenders.

Ray Allen is so much better than Kevin Martin.

IF Boston goes deep, they will want Ray's experience and scoring.

He had 51 last year against the Bulls.

Ray is NOT done.

Boston is looking to shake things up. I don't know if that would be the best thing to do. I personally don't think it would be a good move for them. Martin hasn't even seen the playoffs...

It's the best value Boston will get back for an aging Allen. K-Mart would at least get a chance on a contender. I've liked his game ever since he was a rookie and feel bad for him rotting in Sac town. Perhaps it's the best move for Sacramento too since they can move forward with Tyreke and use the cap space next season to build around him.

Please let this happen, we'll become the dominant force in the Atlantic. The trade gives the Kings a huge expiring, and a chance to rebuild properly, with Evans playing the 2.

Boston probably thinks they can hide Martin on defense cause of Rondo and Pierce, but there is no hiding such an inept defender. He would also be another injury prone starter to add to that team....its a win for the rest of the east
