If they weren't in a battle to keep Wade I wouldn't recommend it, but they probably should deal Beasley and JO's expiring along with whatever else they have to in order to get competitive.

Wade is amazing, so surely it wouldn't take that much to make them into a dangerous team.

It would be a disaster for them if Wade walked.

Miami's screwed.

They should've traded for Boozer when they had the chance. Now there is no chance Utah trades him, and there may even be a change they re-sign him.

Amare won't make enough difference to entice Wade to stay. He could take them to "maybe" our level, but that isn't a good enough ceiling for a team that is supposed to be the major player in this so-called 2010 free agency frenzy.

May as well just sign with the Raps. A Jose, Amir, DeRozan for Wade sign-and-trade sounds pretty fair.

I can see why others burned you. Dwayne Wade is in my opinion the 3rd best player in the NBA. He isn't old and can continue to dominate for years to come. At the end of this season, his team who will probably finish at about 41 wins or so will offer him a contract. A pretty good one I might add. But, he will the opportunity to play in New York with a better supporting cast, better city, better coaching system. If you watch Miami games you see the frustration in him.

You can also say the same thing about Bosh. But his supporting cast is getting a lot better and unlike D-Wade his team is good.

beasley's only 22, he can still live up to the hype from draft day and GMs know that but the recent off court stuff really hurt his value

Your lack of education is the only thing that is obvious.

Where is Wade going Captain Obvious?

dacrusha wrote:The Raps already went through their brutal schedule to start the season. Miami's season is now starting to even out as they way overachieved in the first two months of the season.

The Raps had it tough and the Heat had it easy earlier on, but they didn't have it nearly as tough as this. 19 road games in 5 weeks of games (6 weeks but 1 is for the all-star game)? Playing 3-4 road games every week for that long will wear down any team. I'm not even trying to argue which team is better, especially 'cause I don't think the Heat are that great, but I do think they're better than MIL. I'm just saying there's some serious doom and gloom about the heat right now because of a 5 game losing streak and IMO if the Raps had gone through a stretch this rough they'd be in a similar position. Even so the only games you can really say they should've won are home to MIL and an earlier game at the Clippers. Same goes for the Raps when they were in their toughest stages. There were only a 1-2 games that were really poor losses. Home to WAS, and I'd say one of the games in IND should've been theirs. Now that's a little revisionist 'cause there were some games against really beat up teams like BOS and SA or the very early @MEM game, but based on quality of opponent it's hard to call those really poor losses now.

My only point was for all the upset the Bosh leaving rumours caused back when the schedule was as much to blame for how the Raps record looked, it's equally the culprit now for MIA and maybe even more so 'cause they're in the middle of a brutal stretch.

Amare + Wade would be a deadly combo don't kid yourselves. Anyways, I think they will find a way to keep him by getting a Amare or worst case a Boozer. They can even maybe resign JO at more realistic deal too. Then they still have Beasley whom they can use as trade bait or even keep.

Just because he is a ballboy does not mean his opinion is any less valued.

Be polite, a posters rank doesn't mean a thing.

Miami needs to do something at the trade dead line... I would pull off these two moves..
1. Trade JO for Haywood, Butler and stevenson...
2. Trade Beasley , quentin richardson and james jones for amare stoudemire.
Both trade works, makes miami and instant contender and I think both trades are possible.

C = Haywood/Anthony
pf, Amare/Haslem
sf Butler/wright
Sg wade/Cook
Pg Alson/Chalmers

Would be a scary team on both sides of the floor.. Flame away!!!

They better do something, Miami essentially has a D-League team outside of Wade-Beasley.....and even Beasley is overrated.

To ignore a user simply click on their username and then click "Add Foe"

What does add 'friend' do? I assume 'foe' just makes their posts invisible.
