M.J or Kobe?
Personally i would rather have Kobe, i argue this with my fam. all the time, i just think if you put mj in this league he would really really be good, but kobe would be better.

i would take M.J, he did average 15 at 40 year old hedo cant even do that at 30 :lol:

Simmons brought this topic up in his book. The younger gen discounts the legends a bit, just because they didn't get a chance to see them play every day. Not saying that's the case here, but Kobe is not at MJs level.

MJ played in a much tougher league... watch him and the defense he had to face every night.
Today's game is a ladies game, you just touch Kobe and they call fault. Not so in the eighties...

This is why people who are in old enough would take MJ anytime over Kobe since the game was much more physical then. There is a reason why people call MJ the greatest bball player.

well..even counting the primes of players today, Kobe barely makes the top 5 in terms of on court impact (Shaq/TD/KG/Lebron). So there's really no excuse for this thread.

Yeah... I've been called a huge Kobe homer/fanboy. I would take MJ over him.

Phil Jackson once said that Kobe was a better shooter, while MJ was a better finisher and post player.

No disrespect to Kobe, but MJ, hands down.

Take Shaq, Gasol away from Kobe and I don't believe he can win all four championship. Left alone MJ got only Pipen to win 6...
