Jazz better comes out swinging because it’s a trap game.
Ingles is cooked.

Yep, Jordan Poole often gets his offensive game rolling when he gets a chance to start. He's averaging 26 ppg on 18.7 fga this season as a starter.

After a real slow start to the season, Klay Thompson has been pretty good on offense recently. Over his last ten games, he is averaging 21.5 ppg on 16.4 fga, including 45% from three on 10.7 3pa/game. Of course it helps him a lot to have Curry out there attracting attention and passing him the ball, and he has no Curry tonight.

I'd be more concentrated on what OUR team can produce instead of wetting my pants over different scenarios of what the opponent might do.

As in:
- Almost the whole roster is injury-free
- Lauri has been hot, hotter than Kate Upton in my dreams
- Kessler is developing nicely
- Olynyk has been scoring surprisingly efficiently
- Some say Sexton is improving. Fair enough
- Vanderbilt: thumbs up

So the D kind of sucks but I reckon we definitely have more going for us than against. Any objections to that?

I'm at the game and I think have the attendance is cheering for the Warriors. It's gross.

What an ending. If you told me at the start of this year I’d potentially be waking up neighbors in southern Ohio over a Jazz game in December I would have bet my paycheck and lost it. I love watching this team!

Looks like half went home sad and shocked after the choke. Hell of a win.

Frankly, our defense it's putrid. We have won, but this was not a great game by any mean.
We can score, and we do a lot, but with this defense it's impossible to win a lot of games.

Kessler did a great job. Fontecchio too, Gay better than expected... NAW had his moments... But still it's that defense.

By the way, what happened to Lauri? Sexton was out, but there's any news?

Thank you.

Crazy ending. My thoughts:

The flagrant 2 call on Clarkson was excessive. I don't think that lame scuffle warranted an ejection.

Fontecchio is a really good shooter, who had to deal with a lot of bad passes in this game, and he still was able to recover and knock down 3s. If we ever manage to integrate him into our offense and get him open looks, he could be deadly.

Vanderbilt came off the bench tonight in favor of Kessler. I wonder if this was a one-time thing or if this something Hardy will try for a while. I support this change. And V8 still played 24 minutes, which is his average.

Kessler continues to be really good, and this is when so far he has shown zero offensive moves, which I think he has. I think as a rookie he just tries to commit as few mistakes as possible and is content with playing Gobert-esque offense, which means being fed the ball for open dunks and logging points off offensive boards. But the guy actually has some range and I suspect at some point (but probably not this season) we'll see him create some offense for himself, as well as shoot outside the paint. Oh, and those 10-block games will come as well. I expect we'll see a few triple-doubles from him with 10 blocks throughout his career. Kessler is currently 8th in the league in total blocks (44) while only playing 16 minutes per game. That's insane.

Props to NAW, he had a good game and was involved in the two steals the Jazz had at the end of the game.

This ↑↑↑. He needs to improve on D, but with his exceptional three point shooting capability, he seems like he can be a net plus player overall if the Jazz find him when he is on the floor.

NAW has a lot of zero from the field games, but he's had a few hot games as well, and overall he has a reasonable TS% at 55.4%, including 37.5% from three. Perhaps coach was playing NAW over THT last night to help make up for some of Lauri's missing outside shooting threat, and it worked. Also, tiny samples, but NAW and THT have near identical defensive ratings at NBA.com and Basketball Reference.

Honorable mention to NAW for the last two defensives hustles.
