The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Hopefully I am wrong, but I have very little optimism for this game. Cavs put game one out of reach by halftime. Garland and Mitchell were a big overmatch for Conley and Clarkson. Clarkson had 23 points, but it took him 21 fga to get the points. Kessler got in foul trouble. Markkanen was the only standout player for the Jazz.

Too bad Sexton is going to miss another opportunity to play against his old team .

I wonder how the crowd will react to Mitchell given the things he said after he left. Either way, I wouldn't mind a quality loss.

Maybe not playing Olynyk will help in defense at least...

But you sound more optimistic than me when I say that I expect a massacre.

Cavs are a fine, well structured team on its game at the moment. Jazz, despite valian efforts lately, are talent depleted and don't stand a chance when you compare the players position by position.

105 - 130

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

I'm all in on the tank, but I badly wanted them to win this one.

Now we can lose the next 10 in a row. 8-)
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

It's always great to win vs Mitchell.
He is an awesome player, but he did not want to be here, and he doing a superstar game and still losing, it's priceless.

It was a feel-good win but I'll take a quality loss over a quality win this season.

The reincarnations of ak47 and harpring wont allow that.

We look much better when Kessler is on the floor. Having said that, The Cavs losing Allen early definitely helped us.

The draft is a crapshoot. And the jazz have lined up plenty of picks and will likely trade for some more. They should just keep developing guys like kessler, play good basketball, and shrug off those painful wins.

I say stack the odds in our favor and trade the older vets who are helping us win (Clarkson and Conley).

Do you think there's a good trade out there for Conley?

Sure, we already accidentally traded for one all star. I like your brewsters millions mentality. The harder we try to suck, the better we get.

This was a fun game to watch. I had forgotten they have 3 of my favorite former Jazz players on their team and we got to see two of them. Of course DM, but Neto and Rubio were quality, solid players for us. It was cool to see Neto still being his bull dog self and playing hard. I wold have loved to see Rubio in this game, but that probably would have made it so Neto didn't see the floor. Glad to learn Rubio is due to return soon.

Return to Utah Jazz
