Important draft day questions

Post#1 » by AingesBurner » Thu Jun 22, 2023 2:56 am

Big implications guys.

I celebrate the draft yearly and normally go with pizza, wings, and beer, but I am thinking BBQ this go around. Will I curse us if I get BBQ? I was in Mexico and had Mexican during the Grayson Allen draft.

I'd go with baby formula, which is what I imagine I was eating when the Jazz drafted Stockton and Malone.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I will be watching, probably after dinner.

Nothing special around here, just having fun about selections and possible trades. I am still hoping for that trade that will make everyone here happy!!

I am pretty sure Charlotte will take Brandon Miller over Scoot, which in my opinion will be a mistake. Who am I to know what the best for them is, anyway.

Let's get the party started!

In 4 years, if this draft is a bust, I'll blame your choice of food, whatever it is (it should be BBQ).

Did I just hear an invitation for BBQ? :P

I live in Taylorsville (Utah), and Taylorsville Dayzz (yes, with the "zz") kicks off tonight. It's a huge 3 day carnival with food, music, rides, etc.. WTF are they thinking, opening with $1 rides on Draft Night!?!?!?!? .... I still choose the JAZZ!

My food will likely be something I find randomly around the house, because I won't be cooking i the kitchen with the draft on. (Plus my son will be with friends at Dayzz.)

AingesBurner, what did you get to eat? I need to know so I can blame you for the Jazz passing on Whitmore.

I am kind of expecting new Houston Coach Ime Udoka to give Cam Whitmore some tough love and successfully work through issues. Houston has an exciting, young roster.

Very nice interview. I like that the boy put a stress not "on being aggressive" but on dogged defense and studies: "being a student in the game". Maybe it is really a steal, because (I think) in the men of that age BBIQ, work ethics and locker ethics (like, you know, Jocic) is wa-ay more important that "raw talent" or athleticism.
