Instead of competition between the best players in the world, it's just a bunch of guys trying to take advantage of rule loopholes in order to win at any cost.

Yeah, I saw it through highlights as well. Wrote in the General Board that they managed to ruin Wemby. I know he said it was his idea but I don't buy it. This was Paul's 6th skills challenge (never won it), and it has his name written all over it. The players have ruined the NBA Allstar in so many ways, it's absolutely disgusting.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Don’t watch it anymore. It’s boring.

That's what I'm saying. I only watched the highlights and even the highlights are boring.

Haven’t even watched the highlights  only looked at the score.

And now Wemby is out for the season with blood clots. Hopefully he makes a full recovery, but it will be a constant concern from this point forward. This is why I don't get too caught up in worrying about how hard the Jazz tank. Even if you win the biggest prize in decades, it could be over before it's started with health concerns/injuries. Luck is fickle biznatch.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

True, but when worrying about injuries to a player like Wemby, we think about physical damage and that his body won't hold. Having a blood clot is too random and not really related to his body type, size, length, build, and it doesn't affect his durability (not that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to medical issues).

But now that he's out for the season, I'm betting the Spurs will start tanking and sideline Fox with bogus injuries. If they end up with Flagg I'm will not stop puking.

I know it is not about fairness, but gee, if they get Flagg something tells us that we should simply give up.

I’m all for the changes to the lottery and the new CBA. But a provision that a team can’t get a number #1 pick two times out of three years or lowering the odds of a team in the lottery if they have just recently acquired a top pick does seem “fair” to me.

The Pels and Spurs do not deserve a number 1 pick. Especially the Spurs. If the Spurs get Flagg it’s basically over for the west for the next 5-7 years as long as OKC and the Spurs don’t get hurt or drop the ball.

Interesting video about tanking and proposed solutions. I was more interested in the examples that were provided about tanking by other teams this season. I won't be counting down the minutes until the league issues them a fine.
