Last game of the season. Congratulations everyone, we made it! Now the Jazz just need to finish the job strong and get that L, and it's off to offering human sacrifice to the elder gods before the draft lottery.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

If Utah loses, then Minny dodges the play-in. A Utah win would put us in a position where 2 minny play-in losses gives Utah another lottery pick.
The only advantage in losing is picking no lower than 5th instead of 6th. Actually, I believe a loss would just force a coin flip, so we could still end up 2nd even with a loss.
I think I'd prefer Utah to win this one to keep that 2nd lottery pick in play.

New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

I suspected this was a possible outcome but I read a scenario of what happens if the Wolves lose and they didn't mention this possibility in their convoluted explanation. If a Jazz win gives them a chance at another lottery pick then by all means go for a W. But the human sacrifice after the season ends is still on.

The Wizards just beat the Heat by 1 point on a Bub Carrington buzzer beater...
