And both of them would be more valuable than your non-rebounding, non-defending, jump shooting, 42% shooting, out of shape, injury prone $9M stiff.

BlahblahblahblahblahblahblahmyplayersaresogoodandyetmyteamisstilloutoftheplayoffsintheworstconferenceinNBAhistoryblahblah...

Some things I found mildly entertaining in your delusional-and-out-of-touch-post:

1) You actually linked Bill Simmons in an attempt to provide a credible "source" for your player being a bargain. That is like referencing a gossip column in a court of law.

2) You casually flip out there that you would "happily" give Foster up for the Rockets pick.....ORLY? So, let's get this straight....you would actually give Foster up for a pick that is likely to be in the late teens/early twenties? Wow, how generous of you.

As for the Rockets obliging......that's about as likely as the Pacers removing that massive anchor labeled "Troy Murphy" from around their necks any time soon.

3) If you really think that a) Memo presents negative value and b) either Murphy or Foster are anywhere in his neighborhood as players, you are out of your mind. That is like saying that Hakim Warrick is as good as Josh Smith.

You are awarded no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

wow...hyperbole much?

but i like how you make this grand statement by throwing out these "facts" which are all qualified by saying "he's PERHAPS the worst..." and then you don't bother to actually back up by any of these statements with any statistics or evidence what so ever.

FACT: Perhaps Buck O'Hare needs to look up the definition of the word "fact"

You make a lot of good points in your post, but these aren't among them. (Jazz board faithful know very well that I am a stickler for arguments...I'm less concerned about what side you take than whether you can make a reasonable point. I think they're all sick of me now :D )

Anyway, it does little good to say "it's a FACT that PERHAPS..." If you're going to state facts, state facts. Not non-committals.

Yes, he has a worse FG% than most starting big men in the league...because he plays a lot further from the basket and takes more 3-pointers than most of them. It's still not great, but we'll live with it.

Out of 81 centres in the league, Okur's rebounding/48 is 66th. Again, not great, but not the worst in the league (he's ahead of Collins ;) ), and not too bad for a guy who (again) plays so far from the basket on offense. (Just looking at defensive RPG? He's 23rd out of 81...so he's not that bad a rebounder. He's just not in a position to get many on offence because he's out behind the arc.)

And worst defending big man in the league? One more time, he's not great...and I don't have the stats to back this up, but I can tell you don't watch a lot of Antawn Jamison or Eddy Curry on defence.

Don't think Okur's all that great? You're entitled to your opinion. But don't state "facts" that are quite simply not true.
