The dunk competition was pretty good this year.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Not saying wiki means anything but

A slam dunk (or simply a dunk) is a type of basketball shot that is performed when a player jumps in the air and manually powers the ball downward through the basket with one or both of his hands. This is a standard field goal worth two points. There is one component required for this particular "field goal" to be classified as a "dunk": 1) the ball must be thrown into the basketball net in a downward motion where both the ball and player's hand(s) are both above the basketball rim. The term "slam dunk"

Plus Dwight had the pizzaz, hes a showman, Greens dunks were nice but other then the cake dunk, he really didn't have much creativity. He did, the between he legs dunk twice in a row, plus the double tap in dunk won it for Dwight IMHO.

He's classy, funny and smart.

Definitely represents the Jazz, the NBA and the state of Utah well.

Lets put this into perspective. The All-Star game is at ESA. DWill just was named to his first all-star team, and will also be competing for the skills challenge title. In walks Chris Paul, the guy who our stud is most constantly compared to. He waltzes into our building, embarrasses our hometown hero, and sets a record for the event.

Now, are you going to tell me that at the moment he hoists the trophy, SLC will be giving him a standing ovation at 115 decibels?

LeBron is not the arch-enemy of one of our superstars. We never had a chance to draft LeBron over one of our current players. LeBron is not constantly compared to one of our guys, and he is not a main rival of any of our guys....
