I must admit that I find it humorous that someone could say "your not a Jazz fan if you think Malone was juicing!", though. I imagine a lot of people in san Francisco said the same thing about Bonds.

No, he's right; you have to be a lunatic to be a Jazz fan and to believe that Malone was juicing; his workout routine and his unearthly dedication to weight training and conditioning were documented pretty much from his rookie season onward; you'd have to ignore the MASSIVE coverage of that over a two-decade career to believe he juiced to get to his size.

And Bonds in San Francisco is a different story; Bonds fans mostly just ignore the speculation, talk about how good a hitter/player he was before the period where people suspect him to be juicing, etc.

Anyone hear remember what Malone's wife said after he retired?

Karl said he still worked out like 3 days a week in retirement and when left alone, his wife was like "Yeah, 3 really means 7" or somesuch. The man was an animal and still is.

You'd have to be completely out of touch with Karl Malone to believe that he was a juicer.

Another good point; look at Clemens, Bonds, etc. Malone was an ox until a knee injury from a collision/fall as a Laker took him out. Or are we forgetting that he played 1,434 of 1,444 games for the Utah Jazz? He played in 80+ games for 13 straight seasons, a streak broken because of the lockout year. He played less than 80 games in only the lockout season and his last year, as a Laker, and played 82 games in 10 seasons, including 5 in a row at one point.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember most of his missed games resulting from suspensions rather than little injuries.

Karl Malone was an unearthly force, some kind of lab-created fleshtank, not a human.

And not a juicer.

Do you really think that arguably the best power forward to ever play the game would be willing to play back up C and be willing to assume the role in the locker room that follows? Karl is and has always been a leader - you just can't hide him in the locker room so you are not only getting a back up C but you have something that will mess with chemistry.

No offense, but vet leadership is a thing this team COULD use, along with a better backup C. And, being that we're talking about Karl Malone, Utah Jazz legend, who played most if not all of his career for Jerry Sloan, I doubt that he would mess our chemistry. If anything, it'd make it better IMO. He'd be like a "playing" assistant coach... and we're talking about the Mailman not Tony Massenberg.

That's why we should have made a run at Kurt Thomas instead of letting him waltz right to San Antonio, I'm so God damn sick of Western teams trading with each other instead of sending these guys East, it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

First of all, that move was a gift wrapped up by the Sonics GM. They wouldn't have done anything like that with us. They basically dealt for a 2nd round pick. And second, Utah doesn't have the expirings to make it work like that.

The Mailman would still be awsome!!
