The one I am most happy about is his FT% getting consistently into the 80's.....but those are fine numbers indeed.

I'm still confused, though, why a 6'3" guy with the physique and athletic ability that he possesses can only come up with ~3 rpg. I realize that we have a lot of quality rebounders on the team, but is it too much to ask for a minimum of 4 per game? Please?

Obviously, it doesn't matter in the scheme of things, but it sure would make that line look a lot better....

I think his FG% is amazing for a guard. I know they are very skilled, but their shots arent mostly layups.

Nice to see Williams put up big numbers. What I don't get is how he's not getting any MVP mention and CP is. Their numbers are basically the same but Paul gets much more love than Deron for some reason.

That, and the Hornets have the second best record in the NBA. The Jazz have the 7th best? I think Williams deserves to be in the 10-15 range, and he'll earn a higher spot in due time. I think that prior to January this was Boozer's team (as far as our most productive player), since it's been Williams. If he keeps this up, he may not win it still, but he'll be right up there.

True in all of them. He has slightly lower averages, but surely a good job done by Calderon by being efficient in comparison to "La Bomba"

Deron's game is really impressive. He's become such a great overall player, and will continue to be among the very best PGs in the league for a decade now. I didn't know where to post this, but Kobe has some pretty high praise for Deron as well:

After playing in the L.A. Lakers' last game before the All-Star break, Bryant was required to play in New Orleans and put in a 2-minute, 47-second appearance in which he did not take a shot and shied away from the action to protect his injured pinkie.

If he had not played, Bryant would have been forced by NBA rules to sit out the Lakers' first game back from the break. Williams, meanwhile, won the skills competition and was a leading candidate to be a last-minute injury replacement for Bryant.

"I think it was a really dumb rule,'' Bryant said. "I would have loved to see [Williams] in there playing and doing his thing. He's a deserving All-Star, without question. It's a stupid rule."
