Heres to the Jazz playing UP to their competition tomorrow when they play the pistons.

Dude you people are EXAGGERATING. So we lost to the Clippers and Wolves? Big whoop. The Hornets lost to the Arena/Butler-less Wizards yesterday, who were on the 3rd game in 4 nights. THIS STUFF HAPPENS. Get worries when we loose to teams we might potentially play in the playoffs. That's where you set the benchmark for this team.

The thing is the Jazz have not lost a few games against bad teams. They have lost a ton. The exception is they having a good game on the road and not a bad one.
I was really excited and thought this team actually had the chance to get to the WCF again and perhaps even winning it. But if they can't win on the road, they'll be lucky to get past the first round since they probably won't have homecourt advantage during the whole playoffs.

Get the record vs the top ten in the league, that's the record that I care for. Even without home court only two teams worry me: Lakers and Spurs.

we can't lose these games!Still the Suns and Lakers are the only teams that scare me. The Lakers are the only team playing amazing ball right now! Pistons next then the Hornets. If we lose those then press the sinking button!

This blows. It seems like this time every year (given an above average record). The Jazz just take a break from basketball. Well here is hoping that they will at least get up for the playoffs (given they make the playoffs).

I think the part that hurts the worst is that the Jazz were on a roll and really playing great ball then reality sets in and they are falling back to earth.

Jazz got outworked.

Pathetic.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Of course the elite teams play well against everybody...

Spin it however you want, losing to the Clips and Wolves in this Western Conference race IS a big deal. I mean jeez, there's homerism and then there's HOMERISM and then there's Ming Kong. :D

Obviously every loss is big right now given how close the playoff race in the West is and obviously losing what should be easy wins especially hurts. That being said, Ming Kong's statement wasn't all that homeristic.

Really? This seems "homeristic" to me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :D

BTW, the Jazz are now in 8th place in the West when you go straight by records. That means home court against exactly nobody in the West which to me is indeed "a big whoop".

I'm not freaking out, but I'm also not willing to pretend it's not important when they lose to the shoe-bottom-muck teams of the league like the Clips and Wolves. It definitely says something about this team. What exactly, I'm not sure.

Edit: Just realized they are actually in 7th place by virtue of records. So they do have home court against the Warriors should they somehow manage to meet up. LOL

Pathetic. Thats the perfect word to describe it.

The thing is we lost big time to them, it wasnt like a bad call or something, they abused us. 111 points, 4 guys making 20 + points, 39 free throws...

I can't accept losing to a team like them (not to take anything from them) but... come on.... They are The Wolves, the worst team in WC.

:banghead: :banghead:

Wtf they were thinking ? They thought it was an automatic W just because of what?

Freaking pathetic.

Did my eyes deceive me or did Hart play last night? The box score has him as a DNP, but I swear I saw him fumble the ball away at least once yesterday........
