Ira Newble.....

Post#1 » by Torriero » Sat Mar 1, 2008 3:22 pm

Yes, this is a reactionary topic based on the realgm ticker above....I actually didn't even know he was in the NBA anymore.....but I think the Jazz could use another injection of life into the team right now and he might be a solid addition.

Maybe the Jazz aren't planning on using that 15th spot at all...but as I recall Ira Newble is a solid team guy...nice dude....good locker room addition....and is a scrappy player that brings some toughness to the court if he is ever needed in a game. I just think we could use a solid vet going into the playoffs and down the stretch of the regular season. I really doubt he has any expectations of playing time...but I would be more comfortable with him in a game than somebody like C.J. Miles. Thoughts?

Newble is terrible. TERRIBLE. I would be stunned if anyone wastes a roster spot on him at this point.

WTF... loserx.. you gotta make now a past deadline signing waived players thread... it is already 8 useless threads... I loved your idea in the past, and it might work again

Why don't we sign Kevin Willis or Greg Ostertag to help us in the middle...
