when will the jazz lose at home again?

Post#1 » by Pappyman » Thu Mar 6, 2008 5:26 am

will they lose again at home this season? i really don't think that they will. i don't know about you, but i am feeling 38-3 at home. if that were to happen, we could the entire rest of the season without winning another road game and still equal last season's win total. i highly doubt that we will go 0-the road, however. i am feeling about 5-7 more road victories, which would put us at around 55 wins. i can handle that.

I think we lose 1, maybe 2, the schedule at home is pretty rough, whereas the road schedule is pretty light.

I think we'll end up around 54 wins on the season.

I hate to even say it, but I worry about Saturdays back to back against Denver. Denver wont play on friday and will be rested and watching Utah go to war with Phoenix.

There's not a doubt in my mind that we will win 55, but I think that we will lose at least one more at home.

Here are the remaining 11 home games...

Sat, Mar 8 Denver
Mon, Mar 17 Toronto
Thu, Mar 20 LA Lakers
Sat, Mar 22 Seattle
Tue, Mar 25 Charlotte
Fri, Mar 28 LA Clippers
Mon, Mar 31 Washington
Wed, Apr 2 Minnesota
Fri, Apr 4 San Antonio
Sat, Apr 12 Denver
Mon, Apr 14 Houston

The Lakers and Spurs games are the only games the Jazz should have a chance to lose, but I don't think it unrealistic to think they could run the table and finish 38-3 at home. I don't think the Nuggets have a chance in SLC.

the next one vs. Denver is not going to be a cakewalk, Denver has a lot more motivation to win as it's a revenge game for them

Since they are 5-22 since 1993 season and also they are on the back to back night on the road after playing against the Spurs on Friday... I don't feel too bad.

I think we lose one more game....and I wouldn't be surpised to see us losing to either a) a bad/mediocre team on a night when we dont bring our A game or b) a good team on a hot streak (like when we lost to the Blazers).

I fully expect us to beat each of the elite teams we play against (SA, Houston, Lakers) and there is not a chance in hell that the Nuggets beat us on our home floor. It just ain't happening.

I think we are going to lose to the Bobcats again.. For some reason we just can't beat MJ's baby pupils.
