Didn't Boozer say that?

Boozer said something similar, but Deron did say that. I personally wouldnt ask him questions about that, it probably wont be worth your time and is really old news.

I got this just now, but the quotes in past articles attribute it to boozer.

Deron - "No."

Did he have a straight face when he made that Stockton comment? That is harsh, because he has definitely said that those two summer sessions with Stock helped him out a bunch.

I hate to be Simon Cowell, but I was not impressed. Very much average questions asked (at least for those of us who has seen almost every interview of him), and also it appears to me that you did not establish great rapport with Deron, I have no idea of what your situation was, and therefore I can't say anything at all, but I felt it was the same old same old. The only interesting question was indeed the John Stockton one.

seemed like maybe he was getting ticked and gave you some YES, NO answers towards the end, then got him stoked again when you talked to him about college

good interview imo, just good

Yeah, it he gave some short answers in the middle and I don't really blame him. It was before the game, so Im sure he wasn't thrilled to do it in the first place. The Stockton question though seemed to rub him the wrong way. He seems to have some agent 0 in him where he feels people dont give him all the respect he thinks he deserves.

As for the overall interview, I thought it was sufficient but could've been better. Also, remember though this is for a website based in spain and for general NBA fans. Not hard core Jazz fans. So I felt it gave a good overview of Deron.

Thanks for all the comments and help.

I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for posting it.

Deron is a winner. You can tell by his work ethic, dedication, heart, and comments like "the NBA is the biggest level, we were 4 games from the Finals."

Deron Williams WILL win a championship at this level. I just hope he's wearing a Utah uniform when it happens. Then our franchise will forever go down as the greatest PG factory in the league....

i find it hard to believe that Stockton has not givin him good advice, maybe he was just trying to be funny at the time.

Return to Utah Jazz
