Yep, pretty hard to blame a guy when he goes 15/19 for 41 pts, grabs 9 boards, 2 assists, a steal and a block.
IMO, I'm way more apt to but the blame on Okur and D-Will both offensively and defensively. Sure Deron had 16 assists but went 3/11 while Memo went 5/15. .306 ain't going to get it done from two of the "Big 3". Plus, there's no way the Jazz are going to win when they get outboarded by 19. That's just hustle.
Overall, just more of the same. The Jazz playing down to their opponent's level. This team should be leading the West, but they continue to lose to crap teams on the road.
Just FYI, Okur's man for most of the first half (Boone) was 1 point off his career high. Another testament to MarshMemo's "sissy slap or duck" technique of defense. I've said it once and I'll continue to say it. The Jazz need a tough backup center who doesn't wear argyle sweater vests to parties. Someone who sports a pair of defensive nads bigger than Memo's faux nads (otherwise known as a clitoris). When Memo isn't hitting his shots he's as useless as a third testicle.

Most of the damage that Boone did was when Boozer was on the court, because Williams was being guarded by Okur. Then on the last stretch of the game he was open. Also as Center during the last quarter, he was supposed to defend the paint like no one, and props for his offensive rebounds and the end... But the damage already had been done, not getting back defensively many times and having Jefferson or Boone dunking it in front of him, he just got outplayed like the Kleiza game.

I think Deron made a huge mistake down the stretch, there were like 40 seconds left and the game was tied, we had a chance to go to the basket two times in those 40 seconds, against only probably one for The Nets.
Instead, Deron didnt go for the basket neither set up a play for someone else. We spent valious time there and then we shot and missed, when there were less than 24 seconds remaining.
A bad decision by him, if you ask me.
Regards.

I'm sure deron must have felt a little tired come the 4th quarter, as with most of our players. playing 4 NBA games in 5 days is not a easy thing to do

I know that man. I am not blaming him or anything, I am just pointing that out. It was a mistake, but, there were plenty of them during the game too. It was a bad decision. But overall he's been doing much more to The Jazz, no question about it. He's the man.
