I disagree. If you watched some of those games, Alston or Battier would go on a 3 point barrage, Landry would go for 20 inside, or Yao was too much to handle.
But although some people might have been off, their superb defense and energy kept them alive. I think the streak wasn't because individually all of them were doing so great that colletively it showed this way, if this were truth, they make great dynasties of all time look very pathetic. I think collectively first, and foremost is how they got it done, and very much with hustle and defense. We should offer respect rather than pay down what they have done. They are a team, from where we can learn a few aspects, that if we had 2/3 of their collective defense potential, we would be contenders for the next 8 years.
