10-5, with a chance at going 11-4. Other then the Lakers it's all fluff teams at home (exception of the Timberwolves) until April 4th. Jazz honestly should win all of those games which would give them 8 straight, making them 52-24, in which case I think they would have the Division wrapped up.

They should then probably split those last 6, losing one more game at home and winning one game on the road that they probably shouldn't win but do anyways against either New Orleans, San Antonio or Dallas.

I'll be safe and estimate the Jazz finish 54-28, but could go 55-27 which would be a great season.

The Jazz absolutely need to beat New Orleans in New Orleans to win the tie breaker for the season because my estimation goes that they will also win 54 games and end up playing the Jazz in the playoffs. Having home court advantage would be great in that series.

Looking at the West however there is a very realistic chance the Suns also end up with 54 wins, but that would mean they would have to win some though games, I guess we'll have to see how they pan out.

The good thing is the Jazz have the tie breakers with most Western Conference teams.

*** Teams Jazz own Tie Breaker against as of Now ***

Dallas (2-1 One game remaining)
Denver (2-1 One game remaining)
New Orleans (2-1 One game remaining)
Golden State
Phoenix

*** Teams the Jazz are tied with in head to head Match-ups ***

San Antonio (1-1 Two games remaining)
Houston (1-1 One game remaining)

*** Teams the Jazz are losing to in season series ***

LA Lakers (2-1 One game remaining)

So the good news is the Jazz have a good chance to at least tie everyone in the season series, and with Houston they have they have a realistic shot at taking the season series considering the last game is in Utah.

My guess is they at least tie everyone, and don't outright lose any of the season series which is a great accomplishment and shows the Jazz are for real come playoff time.

Another good sign is the fact that the Jazz and the Hornets own the outright tie breakers over the Suns so if we all finish with the same record the Jazz will face New Orleans regardless.

The Jazz also need to some how steal two games from the Spurs, not only would that be huge going into the playoffs, but if the Jazz could end up with Home Court Advantage vs. the Spurs that would be a huge bonus come playoff time.

I fear with the Lakers losing Pau that they will fall to the 5 seed in the West and the Jazz will face them in the first round. That would be the worst first round match up for the Jazz I believe. I want to see the Lakers end up with either the 2, the 3, the 6 or the 7th spot that way the Jazz could avoid them to the WCF if we get that far.

I want nothing to do with them come playoff time, Gasol has always burned the Jazz and Kobe and Bynum seem to have our number too.

The order in which I would love to see the Jazz play against potential playoff teams.

1. New Orleans - Jazz have their number, nothing better then D-Will vs. CP3.

2. Houston - Jazz beat them last year, and as hot as they are now, I don't see it lasting.

3. Golden State - They are always a tough team, but the Jazz have beat them 3-0 this season and seem to get the better of them mentally.

4. Dallas - Dallas is tough at home but they are vulnerable plus I favor Deron in the PG match up.

5. Phoenix - They are dangerous because I still don't think we have seen their final product, they are a real wild card going into the playoffs.

6. San Antonio - They are always a tough match up and they tend to turn it on in the playoffs, though I actually think the Jazz could match up well with them now that AK has been playing better this season and Korver is a big help off the bench.

7. LA Lakers - Like I said earlier, they are just dangerous.

Jazz will finish 52-30, no more than that.

The Jazz have 14 games left, only 4 on the road so if the Jazz were to lose all of those, they would be 44-28, meaning they would only win 8 of those next 10 at home, even though they have only lost 3 all season.

You have to think the Jazz will get at least one win on the road, and probably 2.

That would put them up at 46-26, and would mean they would only win 6 of their next 10 at home.

You really don't have any faith in the Jazz do you?

well the Lakers just beat the mavs in Dallas w/o Pau so you might want to re-think about the chances of that actually happening

but yeah an ideal playoff situation would be

1st round: Houston
2nd round: New Orleans
WCF: San Antonio(upset the lakers, we get homecourt in WCF!) If we can't beat the spurs than we don't deserve to be in the NBA finals

Winning a series over the Spurs would be such a defining moment for this young Jazz team. It would be a passing of the torch sort of thing, just like Stockton over the Rockets.

I'm lookin good on my prediction so far.

I hope the rest pans out as well, maybe with an extra win in there somewhere. I would be happy with that finish.

The Jazz need to get to 54 wins, that is a bare minimum for the season. I think they could be facing some really terrible match ups with no home court advantage if they don't hit that mark.

Hell, even with 54 wins, the Jazz could still have something horrible occur like facing S.A. in the first round without home court. Unlikely, but possible. Just gotta pray for that first round matchup with Houston at this point.

I think that we're gonna go on a decent little streak right here, and possibly EARN our fourth seed instead of getting it because we win the NW.
