You just love instigating things don't you?
1) Fisher's daughters condition could have been treated in various cities and numerous sites. Even the world famous Hunstman Cancer institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. Never heard of it? Go look.
2) Fisher said he would look around at various cities. BULL$HIT. LA called quickly and he signed.
3) When Fisher got traded to Utah, it took him awhile to report because he was in shock and actually considered not showing up at all and forcing the Jazz to release him then.
4) Fisher's reason for leaving was beyond his daughter. His daughter could have been treated in Utah.
5) Fisher new LA needed a PG, he wanted to go back to LA, and he knew he could get a decent contract. His daughter was his way out.
6) To say his daughters condition could not have been cared for in Utah and how he said he would look around but quickly signed with the Lakers is just flat out hilarious to me. The Jazz could say something, and the Hunstman Cancer institute could call Fisher's bullsh*t on all of this matter, but they won't. The fans are the only ones that know.
SOME Jazz fans, not all, because he was cheered the other night as well, but some Jazz fans don't dislike Fisher for the father he is and the quality of human being he is. They dislike him for hiding his other motives and flat out lying by saying Utah wasn't suitable for his daughters needs. Jazz fans are booing him because he is a former Jazzman that went to the enemy Lakers. It's about the uniform he's wearing. Had Karl Malone actually gotten the chance to play in Utah, he would have received an identical mixed response for the mere fact he would have had on a Lakers jersey.
Calling him a hero is ridiculous. Carlos Boozer is a hero then for his daughter going through sickle-cell anemia and him playing through it. I don't buy it. So many people go to work every day through various problems and deal with what life throws at them, but it doesnt make them heroes. It makes them human.
Get lost.
