Brewer needs to be in the dunk contest next year. The dude has some hops and he knows how to put it down with some authority!!

Outscored them every quarter. Good stuff. I wasn't able to watch any portion of the game, did they seem to show heart? Did they ever seem to play to the level of the competition.

Nice win, despite the almost 4th quarter collapse. AK and KK really stepped up when the team needed the most. Nice to see AK with 3 blocks. I can't even remember the last time he had 3 or more blocks.

This was the best complete game of defense that I've seen Boozer play since his first year with us. He was terrific, showing hard on screens, getting his rotations right most of the time, and generally displaying the intensity and desire that is so lacking nearly all of the time on the "other" end of the floor. Now if we could just get him to do it more than just once in a blue moon.

OMFG... Did Zeus descend and smacked Boozer on the head? The Celtics and Spurs games were his only two other great defensive performances, and today I think he Marion and Luigi gave him a start and I swear he broke the all-time record for a single seasons in blocks. He absolutely rejected SOMEONE! Might be like a 3rd or 4th tier player on a decent team, BUT ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!

Wow, I still can't believe it, I feel like Boozer might transform into a Ben Wallace type of player. Imagine if he would play with this defensive wit and energy on defense. We would be a the top of the Western Conference by 3 or 5 games and clear out favourites.

I guess we can all dream that his f@t@$$ will eventually fall into the ground and start sucking again.

LOL @ Boozer turning into Ben Wallace.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Yeah, that rant was a little.....strange.

Still, I really can't remember a specific game where Boozer showed that kind of regular effort and desire on the defensive end. Memo will have a few games here and there where he does it, while playing like he's stoned at other times, but Boozer is always one step slow and almost completely unfazed by his own poor play. It was more than a little heartening to see.

Remember Booze's defense in the first two rounds of the playoffs last year. He was really solid, he seemed really focused on his rotations and was good not to foul to often, his rebounding was also great.

If he brought that every night the Jazz would be the best team in the league.
