The Wolves have beat the Suns twice, nearly beat the Celtics both times, beat a handful of other good teams. This loss is bad for you guys but it's not the end of the world. The Jazz are still a great team.

The Jazz don't such at all, they are just screwing themselves over right now and giving up HCA. I guess they are settling for 4th seed without HCA. They lucked out with GS last year, I wouldn't count on it happening again.

As I see it, another loss and we have no chance at HCA at all. I will be happy if they lose the next 3 and win the last 6 though...

I don't think anyone really thinks the Jazz, as a team, suck.

This thread is more about the frustration of how bad we suck under certain circumstances.

Say all you want about missing starters, Minny winning against some good teams this year,.....yadda yadda yadda. The bottom line is that we just lost to a bottom 3 team in the league for the SECOND TIME, while in the midst of a neck-and-neck race for home court advantage.

There is no excuse for that. This team f*cks me off.

If the Jazz just beat the teams they were supposed to on the road, we would be sitting at #1 in the west.

Losses to Minnesota X2, New York, and Miami would put us at 52-22 right now!! Thats whats most frustrating!!!!

Anybody hating on the Jazz right now sucks. The Jazz don't suck. They are an elite team in the league, and they can win when they try. Come playoffs time, we're gonna dominate, because these guys really want to take it all and they're gonna auctually try. Do you think that these guys were trying their hardest last night against the Wolves? Hell no. Now, anybody who's hating on the Jazz is being flat out (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Thank you. Exactly.

I obviously don't think the Jazz suck. However, I think this thread was appropriate discourse after we go out against the worst team in the west when EVERY game matters in a packed conference and get disgracefully put down behind the shed by Al Jefferson and 11 scrubs.

THAT is THE REASON OF ALL REASONS to hate on them if it's true... which is just might be. Anyone who doesn't recognize that is being flat-out (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

I'll explain that response right now, so that I don't have to check back for a "screw you, what the hell are you talking about????" message later.

If the Jazz -- with home court and even a playoff appearance on the line in the final days of the season -- come into ANY game and "don't try," and lose for just that reason, then they're a bunch of idiotic bitches and deserve all the hate one can heap upon them.

I can't say if it was effort or just atrocious play (maybe a combination of the two) that led to last night's loss against that atrocious team, but whatever the case, there is absolutely no excuse for it.

I think the road losses to scrub teams come down to 1 thing, tired coaching.

December aside, we are .545 on the road, which is pretty much as good as any team in the league. We really struggle vs bad teams, simply because we play down, which is a bad thing, but come playoff time we wont have that issue. If we can manage to beat SA once or (hopefully) twice, and can manage to have homecourt over them, then we should be set for the most part. LA while being a tough matchup have a fragile core, and you never know how Bynum will effect team chemistry.

Let's not forget, though, that LA just handled us pretty easily recently key members of that fragile core.
