Do you guys have a draft pick this year?

Yeah, we could end up with Philly's 2nd rounder. In fact, it looks likely at this point in time.
As for who I like.....I think Mario Chalmers might deserve a nod there. My preference would to be take another flyer on a yound defensive minded big. Lopez, Hardin, Thabeet and Dorsey all fit the profile, though all obviously have high risk rates.
To me, this would seem like a good year to flip the pick in a trade for a future 1st, like what we did with #21 in 04, sending Podkolzine to the Mavs for a future #1. The only problem I have with that is there seems to be a lot of good guys in the late 1st round area that would help us. I mean, if we hit a solid double with the pick on a young athletic big who is a defense-first tough guy, then this team is immediately transformed from "contender" to "favorite" in the West. With the emergence of Ronnie Price as a solid backup for Deron, it is legitimately the only hole this team has left. Its actually kinda scary to think about, really.

I actually wouldn't mind him, if only as insurance if Boozer or Millsap leave in the next year or two for some reason. He's one of those hardworking, do-it-all types who fall in the draft because they don't have as much "upside", then end up sticking around while "potential stars" fall by the wayside. And if there's a coach out there who could get swoony over a player like Hansbrough, and utilize his all-around game and effort level, it's probably ours.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised (or terribly disappointed) if the Jazz followed erudite's suggestion of trading the pick for a future one. Our salary level is already over the $61M mark next year, and depending on what we want to do in free agency (if anything) keeping guaranteed salary off the books for a year might not be a bad idea.
