OT: Other Jazz Boards...

Between JF and this Jazz board, I think news gets posted more quickly over there. That's pretty much why I started viewing these boards in the first place. I don't really have a problem with the posters anywhere. I mean, 'aintnuthin', talking in his dialect, is actually very knowledgeable if you bother to read his posts. The annoying ones are the people who bitch about him every chance they get.

One thing that's really dumb about that site is when people start crying if they made 4 game threads in a row and the Jazz won all 4 games, then Heaven forbid someone else make a game thread. Like 10 people will hop on a bandwagon crying about letting the onholy game thread winning streak live on. As if that matters. I generally don't see dumb stuff like that here. And there's way too much hate for Kobe over there. I think there is here too though...

I used to hate JF when they had the profanity filter, but now that it's optional, it's much better.

As a whole RealGM is better. I love reading the General NBA section and browse other teams forums from time to time. The off topic is better here too. I had a boring internship last semester and I spent a lot more time on this site than that one. Didn't post a lot, mostly read.

Did I mention that RealGM is gay? It is. The fact that I have to download an anti-ad product on a browser that I don't even use, solidifies its gayness. I want to read and talk about the Jazz, not "THE BEST PRICE FOR LIFE -- IT'S COMCASTIC!".


Just for funsies, there are 15 active topics in this forum, and 5 ads on each page. So, in order to even get into a thread, you're bombarded by 10 ads. Heaven forbid you read a game thread that goes 16 pages...

It's funny to me that the Jazz have such a huge following on this forum, but won't go onto the general NBA thread, or the player comparison board to post anything. I rarely see anyone from this thread start threads or contribute to threads on those parts of the forum.

Basically I think it's a safety thing, and I think thats why people like Jazzfanz too. There aren't a ton of trolls there, and when trolls come here they are easily distinguished. On Jazzfanz you get even fewer trolls.

Personally I like having a wide variety of people from all teams to talk to and get their opinions. Thats why I don't see how people get banned or suspended on these boards. I understand disagreeing with someone, and I understand an argument, but ultimately I just want to get people's opinions and to give mine in return. No reason to get offensive about it.

I like the variety on here. Both in general boards and the newer NFL and MLB forums. There are little to no trolls here and while it has been a little bland sans KE and his many stalkers, I still like it here over anywhere else.

Well I believe the current story we are all going with was cheating on his wife and some type of embezzling angle that lead him to some ass pounding in the big house.

I thought KE was cool, just didn't like how corrosive he would get. Although the daily laugh is always missed.

I think realistically his computer just got broken and he has not fixed it yet.
