So it takes a pretty boy sharpshooter to put Utah on the map

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/chris_mannix/04/09/korver.jazz/index.html

Just browsing through CNNSI and saw that article. Decent read, but basically says that Utah is seeing more air time because of the fan base that Kyle Korver brings to Utah? WTF?

You'd think two young Superstars in Deron and Booz would do that, but I guess it takes a GQ sharpshooter.

We should sign Jude Law as our backup C.

I don't think that's true at all. I hardly doubt that we picked up any more fans just because of Korver, but IMO he really did make Jazz fans more confident and he gave us more energy. He brings something to this team that we've been lacking the last 4 years and I think that he's a great pickup.

I'm with vainsake.
Korver is not doing nothing special, only his job, but Jazz are more dangerous and confident since that trade.

He sure did help jersey sells. I wonder how many he has sold since coming over.

If he has attracted a broader audience, it's the WRONG audience as far as I'm concerned. I'm tired of seeing prepubescent girls at Jazz games waving their Kyle Korver signs. It's a Jazz game, not a **** Backstreet Boys concert

I'm surprised that Almond doesn't have his own cheering section of prepubescent girls. He's as good looking as Korver, isn't he?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Haha... no doubt. I wonder if one of them is NJN?
