I actually like the idea of facing the Spurs earlier rather then later.
The Jazz will have so much energy and momentum heading into the playoffs I think that will be their best chance to pull out a win.
But as everyone else has said, I would rather see most other teams first.
We might be better off throwing away the last game @ SA

Take off your homer goggles, please. We cannot beat the Spurs in a 7 game series. I can't believe how delusional some of you guys are. This team is great, yes, but not THAT great.
I don't think that's a homer thing to say at all. This Jazz team is legit condenders to win the West. True the Spurs have owned us but we have beat them 2 of 3 this year including the a** whooping last week. I would absolutely rather play the Spurs at home in round 1 than open up in Phoenix.
The ONLY way you play not to win is if you are locked into your position and cannot move up or down. No way in hell do you tank a game to change your matchup...that would be a great way to ruin confidence and tell a team you may see later you're scared of them.

Well, if the Rockets finish 2-1 with a loss to us, they are 56-26. If the spurs go 1-1 in their next 2, they are 55-26. That would make Wednesday interesting because SA has the tiebreaker on Houston (10-6 division to 8-8/). If we beat SA, we play them in the first round (with HCA assuming we win our 2 home games). If they beat us, they get the 2 or 3 seed and we get Houston, most likely on the road. Of course, if the Rockets finish 1-2 then we almost definitely get them.
So, I might be rooting for the Spurs on the final night.
Ok actually in this scenario, if Phoenix wins out (GS and Portland at home), then they have the tiebreaker over SA and we'd get Phoenix in the first round. Between the Spurs, Rockets, and Suns, I'd say that we have the best shot at playing the Rockets, Suns, and Spurs in that order.
