What a GREAT win for HOUSTON !!!! They came out and played hard from start to finish on both ends of the floor. We got T-Mac going early in the post. I thought that was a smart move. T-Mac hit a few inside and then a couple jumpshots. RAFER ALSTON was HUGE tonight!! He's definatley not the best PG but he is bringing every night and giving everything he can! He has matured tremndously during his tenture with the Rockets and is having a career season. He has definatley been missed this series. It allowed Jackson to come in fresh against the second unit producing instant offense of the bench early. That was huge tonight. I liked the matchup switch by RA early with BJ and Brooks in there. it kind forced Sloan to get Korver out of there early in the 2nd.

Key role players made there prescence felt. Scola AND Landry were everywhere on the court. They were huge on both ends of the boards tonight! Landry got the minutes he was suppose to in the first two games and he produced BIG!

Defensively we were GREAT tonight! Battier, Landry, Deke, Hayes were all solid tonight. Utah didnt hit their 2nd FG till Boozer scored after 8 minutes had gone by. The game shouldnt even have been that close after three. The refs gave them whatever foul they wanted throughout the first 3 quarters. The difference tonight was that Houston wasnt going to let the refs be able to dictate the game during the closing minutes. The Rockets didnt start getting calls till the start of the fourth. The difference in FTAs was just ridiculous! We also did a better job at the line. We made sure to capitalize on most of our oppurtunities at the line but it could still use improvement.

OF COURSE T-MAC was huge tonight and couldnt have finished the game any better. He scored 7 out of 10 points during a late 10-0 run down the stretch. He also had a huge block, rebound, and steal down the stretch. Utah wouldnt go away easy hitting back to back 3s and made it close but the Rockets kept their composure and won the game with DEFENSE !!!! HUGE BLOCK by LANDRY ON DWILL to seal the game!

Boozer spoke to soon! Dont count us out yet! Were going to take this series one game at a time and win in 7 !

Toot your horn on your own board. If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, then move along.

... this game was UGLy. I was screaming at the TV all game long, Boozer looked soft and unmovtivated, surprisingly enough since he's the one that yelled "We're not coming back" after game 2.

make a GD free throw! I mean Boozer was god awful, Memo was meh.

... I can't really be mad at Deron for that last possession, he missed Boozer twice in the lane, but considering the fact that Deron knew going into the 4th qtr that if we were to win this game it was on his shoulders. Tough runner, fading to the left, and Landry made a great play. I give Houston props for coming out and playing hard, looks like this could be a dog fight for the next three games or so.

BOOZER SNAP THE PHUCK OUT OF IT!

Boozer really said that? Ridiculous. Boozer has been terrible all series, until he grows a pair of balls he should relinquish is starting spot to someone who actually plays with heart. START MILSAP!

A very poor shooting first half combined with THE WORST FREE THROW SHOOTING I HAVE EVER SEEN is why they lost.

Boozer makes 3 of those 5 were up 3-0

They keep that chit up and this series could slip away. Game 4 is now a must win.

They didn't lose because of bad shooting. They lost because they got outscored 40 to 26 in points in the paint.

Are you kidding me ? getting outscored that badly by Houston in points in the paint !!!? If we ever win that series we're gonna get torched by the Lakers.

Our defense was bad , Bjax got some very easy layups , as did Landry , Battier , etc...
We let them take 16 offensive rebounds !! It was funny that at the end of the 3rd , in his interview Sloan said that to secure the lead Utah needed to prevent them from getting layups and AVOID SECOND CHANCE POINTS.
Right at the end of the 4th , Millsap and Okur got killed in that area, and Houston got back quickly to a 2 point lead. This is why we lost, we lost in the paint.

Offensively , we went away from the basket. Boozer spends more and more time out of the paint , and Memo is one of the worst player IN THE LEAGUE when it comes to score around the basket (and the stats prove it) .
Millsap was a no show too offensively (actually he has disappointed me so far) .
That can't happen again in these playoffs. We need to get that inside game going , because that's what win ball game.

Still i'm confident that the team will win. They're more than capable of winning the next two. But it's extrememly dissapointed to see that we're already not unbeatable at home in these playoffs. Bad message to send to the league.

I thought we played good defense, except for korver who should have been benched in favor of Brewer.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
