Paul has had some absolutely Godlike games here in the playoffs. I must say, I am totally looking forward to watching him and DWill dominate the league for years to come.

Very easy to when you play against the Mavs. He would be playing against the Spurs, Rockets, Jazz, or Lakers, and he would be having sub par games. But teams like the Suns, Mavs, and Nuggets are made for him and Byron Scott's ideology to devour them.

Nonetheless, I think he is great. I'm not the type of Jazz fan that hates on Paul just because we have DWill. I actually love watching him play. It's great that we have the top 3 PGs in the league in the West. PG is my favorite position to watch when it is played well.

Did anyone else think that the officials were letting the Spurs get away with murder down low in the 2nd half? Amare was pissed, and rightfully so IMO.

Kobe is on freaking fire right now (warming up for us I guess..) I think he has made his last 9 shots in a row, something ridiculous like that.

Good luck Brew and AK :noway:

I can't believe that Denver is only down 6 in this game, the Lakers don't look great at all late in the 2nd quarter. They are like 0-11 from 3 and only down 6??? Bad D from the flakers.

As much hype as there was going into the playoffs there really is only one really good series going on and that is SA-PHX. And SA is still up 2-0. I could watch those teams play each other every night though. There is straight hate there.

Nuggets only down 5 with 1-12 from 3. Wow, the Nuggets have a shot here if they start making those.

Speaking of flops, Luke Walton anyone? That play underneath where he drew the foul from Camby was an epic flop...

I like how the ref didn't care that Kobe was grabbing his elbow to show him how he was fouled. That was weird.

Too much Kobe. Please, a note to all Jazz players, please don't say anything stupid to piss him off before the series! He didn't miss a shot after Smith started his jawing.

Refs to Lakers, enjoy your sweep. Not saying that the Lakers didn't deserve to win the series, but there were some very questionable calls in that last quarter tonight. I gotta say, they are going to be so hard to beat...

That offensive foul called on Nene was crap late, but it didn't matter. The Lakers dominated them this series and weren't going to lose down the stretch tonight, no matter what. They were extremely impressive in this series. They'll be very tough if we're fortunate enough to face them in round 2.

You're right, though, Duiz. The trolls are bad enough when the Lakers suck or are middling. Now that they're potentially (probably) the best time in the West, it's going to be unbearable.

I must say though, they haven't looked unbeatable in this series. They were playing a team in Denver that could have won game 1 and 4 if they had played to their potential. They were so soft and without a game plan that they looked like a worse team than the 8 seed. For the West having so many great teams this year, the Nuggets were a joke.

The Lakers were playing at a playoff level, and the Nuggets really just never got there, not even tonight. Their defense was so atrocious, I couldn't believe my eyes half the time.

I've been in LA on a week vacation since Thursday and I've been listening to the sports station here to see what they have had to say about the Jazz. They know it will be a tougher series, but I still think that they are severely underestimating them. They mentioned today how bad the Jazz are on the road, but I was wondering to myself what they were talking about! Everyone knows the playoffs are basically a clean slate, so to think that because of the regular season we are a bad road team AFTER winning the first 2 on the road in Houston could be a fatal mistake. How could they think that the Jazz are really a weak road team after winning those!

I think this underestimating of the Jazz will work to their advantage and give them a window of opportunity to steal a game here in LA. They think they already have the 2nd series won and were even talking about the Spurs.

Anyway, if we do get to the series (I mean, come on, we will), I really want the Jazz to come out swinging and put some hurt on the Kobes. Put them out of their misery before the 4th quarter so their friends in stripes can't come in and save the day. Get the guys guarding Kobe to keep their hands away from him while guarding him as he gets like 20 fouls out at the perimeter just hitting their hands as he rises. That is like his #1 move. I would rather see him taking jumpshots than driving and scoring or kicking, so we gotta stay in front of him. That is 1 way to take the larger guys out of the game is to keep Kobe from dishing, because when he does, they are unbeatable.

Sorry for this epistle, and I know that half of it could have gone in the Laker thread, but I was just going with my thoughts.

ESPN can say what ever they want with a win tonight we would have won three on the road and one at home! The playoffs are different. To prove our point we need to win one of the first two games in L.A. The good old days of the western battles are back!GO Jazz Go!
