People always refer to their teams as "we."

But even so, when you say "We're the best franchise in league history," that's getting arrogant for no reason.

I could decide to be a Lakers fan too, and say "We're the best team ever!" See something wrong with that?

Having been to Staples many times for Laker games over the years. I can honestly say that the crowd noise wasn't piped.

It's very hard to do that for a live basketball game when crowd reaction can dither and change in a second.

It gets pretty loud. Granted, Staples crowds usually don't do much during blow-outs (whichever way they are going) but when theres something to get excited about they do erupt.

While the whole arrivng late and leaving early thing is true at Staples, the crowds aren't as tame as they're made out to be.

Of course. You'd be contradicting what your fellow Jazz brethren said about bandwagon fans.

I'm surprised some would think they have piped in crowd noise. Their crowd isn't that loud in general. If they were going to pipe in crowd noise they should be able to do a better job of it.

Well my dad worked on the staples center and he tells me that the building is made not just for basketball but for concerts so the sound wont be as loud...I have no idea how they would do that but thats what he tells me.

I was there last night (game 2)... and there is no piped/artificial crowd noise. What you hear is the crowd, and the only other sound would be the piano/or beat for defense, etc.

Well I guess if unbiased laker fans come in and tell us, then I guess we should believe them. At least pretend to be clipper fans and come in and say it.

I dont know what any of you are talking about, I don't hear any crowd noise whatsoever, so I find it hard to believe there is artificial noise being pumped in.
