Road to Champ

Post#1 » by Kayariel » Wed May 14, 2008 8:20 am

if we eliminate the lakers , it seems we'll play with noh and that is more likely to be easy. and after that i believe that we can beat any eastern conference team in the finals. just we need to win game 5 and our road is clear! what do you think of that?

Sounds good to me.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Unless of course we win game 5, then go 1st-round-post-game-2-syndrome.

I think right now the Lakers is a favorite to win it all. If we are able to beat them (which we are not close too), we can beat any team.

NOH will not be easy. WCF's are never eazy. If the hornets beat the Spurs then give them credit where credit is do. Lots of people picked Dallas and San Antonio to beat them and they won and are winning. They had a better record than us in the regular season.

Yes, I do think we can beat them and that odds of beating them may be greater tan beating the lakers. No, series that we don't have homecourt can possibly be easy.

If we manage to get by the Lakers and the Hornets can beat the Spurs, I like our chances in a Jazz-Hornets matchup. We crushed them twice during the regular season and beat them on their court in a physical dog-fight if a game. We did lose pretty bad on their home court once, but it was just one game. I like how we match up against them and I think we'll make it to the finals if the Jazz do play the Hornets in the WCF.

Whoa...whoa...whoa... settle down boys. We've still gotta beat LA two more times before we even think of playing in the WCF's again.

I swear some Utah fans are never satisfied with where we're at. Two years in a row we are considered by a some to have a legitimate shot at winning the title. We are giving the favorited Lakers a run for their money and then some.

We are in a great spot as a franchise, which makes being a fan that much better. Lets go Jazz, steal one in LA!

Same for the Lakers, in fact I think this team could add up to a few years of dynasty control, they are that good. Bynum will add some huge bench minutes too. Your weakest link IMO? The backup PG. Fish will get old quick and Farmar just ain't the guy to take the rains. He has some real weaknesses in his game. Other than that, you guys are stacked and made the trade of the century to get Pau. It must be nice to have your big trade playing well, Korver has died in these playoffs. Those threes would sure be nice right about now... he is shooting 29% from three land in the playoffs, that is just killing us...
