For all the IDIOTS who want to trade Boozer!

Post#1 » by tdownwa » Fri May 16, 2008 7:17 pm

First, Good #$%ing luck attempting to sign Deron without Boozer still on the team.

Second, Weren't all you same beotches calling for a Memo trade last year at this time? Now you are all on his jock once again just like you'll be on Boozer jock mid season of 08-09.

Finally, you all are the most fair weather, @#$^ing fans I have ever met! I'm so glad that I dont have to be in Utah (SLC, Ogden, and happy valley) listening to this @#$%. You all hated Carlos 2 and 3 years ago when he was injured, hoping the Jazz would trade him for who? Winners like Brian Cardinal or Kenyon "Sta,Sta,Stuttering " Martin? Then Carlos bounces back with an All Star year and played a key roll in taking them to the Western Finals last season. Now you all are crying cause he's having a horrid series? You all need to get a grip and actually be a fan of the team you claim to be fanatical about!

Bitches!

yes because we critcize a player on our team that makes us not true fans. I guess the Knicks shouldnt make any trades or any roster moves and just have the fans be happy with what they have support what they have. Carlos is a terrible defender, if he would just try to block a few shots then fine but he doesn't our team with say an amare or west would be better off. Sure they arent great defenders but they at least attempt to block a damn shot.

Thats right I remember all you guys calling for Carlos to get traded all season long becuase of that shotty D! Oh and thats right early in the season, before the all star break when he was tearing up teams getting his 20 and 10 you all seems less interested on criticizing him about that D, but then again thats where the fair weather comes in.

I will give some of you "fans" kudos cause like many of you I have complained about Boozers crappy D, but when you jump on the trade boozer ban wagon cause he's having a bad series on O and D, then that make you a fair weather. If you continue to criticize his D and keep things in prospective, thats it is just a bad series with a defensive match up that really exploits Carlos, then that makes you a fan who criticizes a player for his flaws... not a fair weather.

Totally inapropriate original post. If you can't handle trade discussions, RealGM probably isn't the place for you buddy.

I would argue that the fans who are willing to trade star players are the true "fans" of the team, since they are willing to take risks to see the team achieve greatness rather than wallow in perpetual mediocrity by keeping the same favorites. I, for one, am more of a Jazz fan than of any particular player. If someone offers me Lebron for Deron, I say yes.

If you think these players are loyal to the Jazz (especially Booz) then you are delusional. They are loyal to themselves and their wallets.

This isnt an argument of, if the players are loyal to the team, its about fans being loyal to a team and the players they root for through the good and the bad.

Entertaining the idea doesn't mean I am clamoring for action. Carlos has shown his expendability and offers should be entertained. This means not trading him for cap space or dealing just for the sake of dealing.

To the OP: you're going to want to dial that WAY down.

Don't agree with other posters? That's fine...feel free to debate in a reasonable and respectful manner. Calling them "idiots" or "bitches" is COMPLETELY over the line. Please watch your tone and your language.
