The thing about trading Boozer for Beasley is that it would obviously be a trade for the future and not for the present. The hope would be that, between getting Beasley, who is an NBA ready scorer and rebounder, giving Millsap more minutes and maybe giving AK some minutes at the four, we wouldn't be losing too much at power forward. Considering that we gave the Lakers a good series with very little help from Boozer, it's not too unreasonable to assume that with the ever improving and already frighteningly good D-Will at the helm and a supporting cast that will (for the most part) only get better, we'd still be able to compete, albeit not quite at a championship level.
In the future, this trade could really help us. Instead of Boozer jumping ship and leaving us with nothing in return, we'd have Beasley, who has the potential to be better than Boozer on both ends of the floor. He's much more athletic, he's longer, he's more versatile, etc., etc. He's only 19, so he and Deron, not to mention guys like Brewer, Millsap, Miles, Almond, Fesenko, Price (if we keep them) and maybe the Knicks pick, would have a very long and very bright future ahead of them. With Sloan likely to leave soon, between those guys and whoever we wanted to keep between AK, Memo and Korver, we'd have all of the pieces to be a contending team playing just about any style. We'd have a terrific one-two punch, size, athleticism, length, shooting, defense, versatility, etc.
The bottom line is this: unless the Jazz are confident that Boozer will re-sign, they should only keep him if they feel they can win a championship with him and their team as presently constructed in the next year or two. If they do not feel this way and if Miami would do this deal, they could set themselves up for a lot of chances at a title.

He isn't huge, but he is great defensively, imagine a line up with Deron and Rose.
Miami would only do this deal if Chicago takes Rose. They want a point guard and if Rose is available, they will grab him without a second thought. It looks like they might even grab Mayo over Beasley if Rose is already taken. A Deron/Rose backcourt would be pretty insane though.

Just been for the last month, I have been visiting some family down here. I like it down here, very quiet, great mexican food and you are literally at the border, on the highway you can see El Paso on one side and Juraez, Mexico on the other.
Anyway Im gonna be in chicago in a week or so anyway.
But yeah you should check it out, they have a lot of state parks close that you can camp and hike at.

there is no way miami trades the pick for boozer
theyll either sign him next season if they get rose or sign someone else or trade for someone using marion as a pawn
if you want marion and haslem for boozer then thats something miami would prob do but i would see no reason for miami to offer the pick when boozer can be had next season
