I think Price is exactly what is needed at backup PG. This team likes to carry 3 pgs though, and Hart isnt' cutting it.

I would rather get Dee Brown back then have Hart on the team. I really liked what Price brings and have no problem him backing up DW. Price surprised me on the defensive end as he is a decent defender.

Price played very well this season, especially compared to what I expected. But at the same time, I agree that his weaknesses really showed for stretches when his shot was off or he was out of rhythm. He's more of a scoring guard than a setup guy, and while I think that inclination worked to our advantage many times, it was a hindrance on other occasions.

I'd like to see us bring in a 3rd PG -- Anthony Johnson being an excellent candidate, as others noted above -- but at the same time, we should recognize that RP is a sprightly 24. There's no reason to think that he can't or won't improve, making him a reasonable long term back-up prospect.
