Normally these little tid bits in the article don't catch my attention, but this was a very interesting stat. Kobe had more in a single game against the jazz , than he did in the WHOLE series against SA.

Bingo.
Although our interior defense being terrible was a part of Kobe getting to the line at will, none of the Jazz players have the reputation as good defenders as Bowen or Duncan have. If Brewer guarded Kobe the way Bowen did, he probably would have fouled out of every game before halftime.
