the Heat is on...

If Miami doesn't resign Marion then they have alot of cap room! Over half of their roster this offseason are either restricted or unrestricted free agents (13 players to be precises, with big contracts like Jason Williams $8 million unrestricted FA and Ricky Davis's $6.5 million unrestricted FA), and then at the end of next season Miami could have Marion's contract ($16 million) off the books and have a whole lot of cash to through Boozer's way. So to say we could out bid Miami is just laughable when we have AK's, Okur's, Harpring's, Korver's and how can we forget DWill's future contract. Boozer is not a max money guy and thats what Miami will give him, so dump him now while we can get something in return for his value.

cap space

the reason they wouldn't sign Marion is they want cap space to go along Riley's prophetic word he is going to through everything he is got to get a big free agent, because that was the whole essence behind the Shaq trade for Miami. Which was to get nearly expiring contracts to clear cap space.

That was directed at the fact that Lebron, Bosh and oh yeah WADE are all FA that summer......don't forget that Wade will also need to be resigned....and I'm sure that if it comes down to making a play for either Booz or Bron, Riley will lean towards Bron...... I think if they do want to add Booz, a trade makes the most sense...
