Nice job guys. You guys definitley earned that win after we did so well in the first half. What is the word on Deron, is he expected to make it in our first matchup together this season? Hope so and good luck to you guys!

**** you, man! You're a Blazers fan and I hope you burn in hell! :D
You guys have put together a ridiculous amount of talent and I believe you'll be a great team this season already. I don't know of any other news on Deron, but if I had to guess, I'd say he'll probably lose the first two games, plays a few minutes against the Clips and comes back at full strength against you guys. I'd love to have him back earlier than that, but there's no need to rush, since we're playing the Clips without Baron and the Nuggets without Melo.

If he does, this team is gonna be sick. We'll have a great starting 5 and 4 guys playing off the bench who can get votes for 6th man of the year. Gotta love Knight's 7 assists, 4 steals and 0 TO in 24 minutes.

With all due respect, we were playing without our best three players tonight. Granted, you didn't have Deron tonight, but it hardly equates to us not having Roy, LA, or Oden. I do give credit to the Jazz for their play tonight, but quite honestly, I'd say it was offensive struggles that cost the Blazers the game more than anything (and who wouldn't struggle with the amount of talent the Blazers did AND DIDN'T play tonight.

It's preseason. Neither team was playing like it was the regular season. It meant nothing. Just a warm up scrimmage.

These two teams, along with NO (To a slightly lesser extent), are going to be so insanley fun to watch battle each other in the playoffs for the next decade or so.

I love how some of the old school rivalries are coming back alive (Utah v. Portland, Portland v. LAL, LAL v. Utah).

That's weak talk. There really is no guarantee we would beat them with the big 3. No reason to make excuses. They made some nice second half adjustments (at least I didn't see the game, but for them to come out effective, I would assume so) and we did not. Until proven otherwise Jazz are and will remain the best team in the Northwest.

I thought everyone played well in the 2nd half. Deron who? JK. Knight and Price filled in well though.

I thought the Ronnies, CJ, and Booze had nice games all around. Knight, Paul, Kosta, AK, and my man Korver had an awesome 2nd half.

Not as scared about a Deron-less Jazz as I was earlier.

Can you believe how bad KOC raped the Clipps this summer?

Yeah, true, and I'm not too concerned with Portland's performance tonight (and Utah will obviously play on a much higher level with Deron on the floor again), but let's face it, the Blazers have plenty of excuses for this loss tonight. Again, Utah deserved to win this game with the way the Blazers played in the second half, but let's not fool ourselves, it was talent more than anything that cost the Blazers the game.

It is not about the score, it is all about the minute to minute performance of the players. Thats it.

I know it's only pre-season and the outcome of the game doesn't matter. I'm just happy we got to see some of our players play well. I don't really think the Blazers need to make excuses. They have a pretty good team and again, it's only pre-season.

^^^agreed, no need for Blazer fans to get defensive about the loss. It was a good game, but the real fun will come on the 5th

Presuming Deron is ready to play.

One thing for sure is the Jazz, Blazers, Hornets: West is going to be ridiculous in the coming years.
