He isnt the most physically dominant person, but his IQ, sixth sense and intangibles are through the roof.

If this was a year ago it would be a huge loss, but Defensive Line is our deepest position in the entire program.

Losing Smith will be a bigger blow.

Well, I suppose someone on the team might be gay. Estimates are between 4 and 8 percent of men are. There is a push by society against gay males in team sports, but with 50 some people on a football team it's just in the numbers.

Really....I didnt know that #2 in the AP poll and #4 in the Coaches poll qualified for a "share of the national title". Oh, and Congrats on a beating the Cougars. With the way Max Hall played in that game, I think just about anyone couldv'e beat us...so congrats on your fantastic feat. I guess after two years in a row of losing to the Cougars, it must have been nice to finally get a win.

Utah had a good season and were a good team. I still think Florida and USC were better teams....so at best, you guys were 3rd...maybe even fourth or fifth...Texas and Oklahoma were both pretty good. Congrats on your "dream season"....lets see if you guys can come anywhere close to repeating it next year.

LOL, ever thought that it was because of our defense that Max played that way? Just ask John Parker Wilson... You little Zoobs cannot ever give credit where credit is due.. Not our fault your QB is second rate and you'll stay mediocre while he's starting. But hey, in all seriousness, its probably the best you guys can recruit.

And lets face it, no other team in this conference will ever see a ranking of #2 except Utah. We've BEEN there, we've DONE that.. TWICE. We have earned the respect that our conference could only dream of. It's our conference, aside from TCU, that is like an anchor on Utah, and that's why we we're only 2nd.. If BYU could EVER beat a good team, and I mean that literally cause they haven't beaten a ranked team in seriously 10 years or so, the conference, may, just maybe get some respect to have 3 legit teams in it, but no, its not the case unfortunately and that's why all the talk about getting Boise state comes in because we need a 3rd team that can perform on the national level with TCU and Utah.

And to those who think Texas was better than us, LOL, obviously there is no way of telling, but considering how poorly they played against the overrated as hell Buckeyes and their dual-QB attack, I'd say we would have ran up that "vaunted" BIG 12 defense just like we did with a legit SEC defense.

USC, Utah and Florida were clearly the best teams in the nation. But only one of them was undefeated.
