Personally, i would love to see the damage that Artest and Williams can create, but i'd still much rather have Boozer over Artest

who cares if artest doesnt like it in utah? at worst utah would be getting a nice role player in scola for free as boozer is likely to bolt. since it is a contract year it is not like artest have the luxury to take the rest of the season off, he needs to do his best to maximize what is going to be his last big contract.

Every time Artest gets traded the team thinks they'll be able to keep him in check and get the best out of him and it never happens. Nothing would change in Utah.
However getting Scola would be a nice addition.
But honestly I think I'd rather just have Boozer stick around.

Artest is a moron that destroys every team he ever joins. Sacramento was good for a little while with him, then they fell off the map. Houston is already in the middle of the process, and we all know what happened to Indiana. I say no-thanks. We have Boozer's bird rights, so we can keep him if we want, or we can let him go, keep Millsap, and sign someone else this offseason like Ben Gordon.

This is one of the most logical trade offers I have seen and is a perfect match in terms of the salary exchange.
Why for Houston? The Rockets need to get better where they can. Starting power forward upgrade with Booz over Scola gives Houston another offensive weapon. Houston will be able to match any offer for Boozer if he opts out, and they may be prepared to do just that if all goes well. Boozer is a great compliment to Yao and the pace that Houston plays. Artest is a free agent and Battier can replace him in the lineup.
Why for Boozer? Great opportunity for personal marketing given the Chinese fan base this team has .. a great city, and an interesting team that will be in the playoffs.
Why for Utah?
They can't keep Carlos after this season and could certainly use a durable power forward in Scola, who still has another year under contract at under $4 mill. Artest? He is certainly a great option to help the Jazz down the stretch at the small forward position. His hard-nosed defense would be helpful and he would likely thrive in the playoff atmostphere. If Sloan doesn't want to play Artest? No matter. Still a good deal for the Jazz to pick up Scola and balance the books next season.
