Korver is our best rebounder. Go Kyle!

If CJ ever realizes how good he is capable of being is going to be a star. He really needs to put the ball on the floor more. He is too creative scoring and passing to settle for 3's all of the time.

AK looked good.

Good games from Deron (couldnt shoot though) and Brewer.

Anybody notice that Brewer is the new Ty Corbin? He is doing milk ads!

Agreed, he should try to mimic McGrady's game. There is no reason he shouldn't be able to get the ball at the 3-point line, drive, and either finish at the rim or dish to the outside. He's a good ball handler, he's tall enough to see over the heads of the people collapsing, and he's athletic enough to finish at the hoop.

No reason he shouldn't average 12-15 ppg just off of driving and dishing, and taking 1-2 3's a game.

THIRTY-TWO OF THIRTY-THREE from the free throw line. Gee, think after last game Sloan had a few words for his team? :D

Amazing FT shooting. It was the only thing keeping us ahead for much of the game. Ironic how it comes on the heels of a stinkfest like the LA game.

Also....its games like this that are the reason there are so many CJ homers on this forum. That dude was ballin tonight. Might have been the best mixture of contributions he has given his entire career. He had his J going. He was breaking people down off the dribble, and he was playing very solid D. The only thing...and--here we are again--I say it all the time: REBOUNDING. Just 3 in 31 minutes of play. WTF, CJ, don't you get it? What's funny is that before I looked at the box score I had the impression that he rebounded the ball well, because I specifically remembered 3 he had for the game. But then I checked it out and those were the only 3 he had. We got our asses killed on the boards again, defensively like always.

I can't wait to see Boozer back.

Finally, if you all want to know at least one reason why Kosta doesn't get as much PT, just watch the way he sets screens. He is horrible at it. He doesn't get set quickly and he isn't comfortable with knowing just when he needs to set one and when he should let the ball go by and then re-set, etc etc, and he doesn't always get a wide base and present a large obstacle for the defender to get by.

Say what you want about Collins, but his screens are excellent for the most part.

And Boozer...Boozer is screen God. Just take a few moments and watch out for it, and then compare the guys we have now to Booz once he gets back. The man is awesome at it. A hugely underrated part of his game, and a big reason why he and Deron are so hard to stop on the p'n'r.

Yeah, it's little things like that where you can see a player who went to college for 4 years, and a player who came straight from high school or one and done in college.

Boozer, Collins, Deron, all guys who know how to set a good screen. The game could be so much easier for the team if all of those guys knew how to set a screen.

Fes really really really needs to work on his pick n roll defense.
