McGrady done for season... Career?

Post#1 » by carrottop12 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 5:40 am

Man, so he is getting Microfracture which will end his season, and honestly, does anyone want to see this guy try to come back? More rehab, more possibilities of injury, the guy should just hang it up.

Oh, and this does help the Jazz get a lot closer to the playoffs. Not that McGrady has been very good this season at all, but that's another big time rotational player that Houston will be with out, meaning more shots for Artest, meaning even less efficiency.

I feel sorry for him, he was a pleasure to watch in his orlando days.

Yeah as much as I hate him for being such a dick in the playoffs, I hate to see anyone go out like that.

As someone who felt joy at most of his emotional breakdowns -- deserved after his outlandish cockiness -- I feel nothing but sympathy for his physical deterioration. You never like to see that happen to anybody. Sadly, his career may well be over, or at least entering Penny Hardaway territory.
