I thought Sloan said an interesting thing about Korver in today's shoot around. People asked him about KKs slump, he gave his usual Jerry answer, talked about the other stuff Kyle does on the floor, but lastly said that people are still out there deep guarding him.

and you know what thats so true. Korver might be having a terrible year, but people and their scouting reports dont think. Just think how much the floor is gonna open up with booz coming back. One defender glued to Kyle, another had to defend the pick n roll...maybe help leaving Memo open deep, doubling on D-will...a dish to Booz. Wide open jumpers for Deron. More space for Brewer and AK to roam. If we can stay healthy, click quickly and play our kind of D (limit possessions and extra possessions with deflections and + rebounding margins) then we can make a solid run.

Just to clarify. I'm a huge Brewer fan.

However, I've been disappointed because I expected a leap towards stardom this year. Instead, he's improved in a lot of areas, but taken a big step backward in production. Not unbearable to handle, but still unfortunate considering my expectations.

Great points.

Kyle is still stretching it, no matter how badly he's shot the ball.

This team was playing at an All-Time level offensively during the second half of last year. I don't think people realize just how dangerous we can be with our weapons all clicking.

Thinking about it now that Larry Miller has passed, this win was much bigger than we all thought. Im glad the Jazz were able to send Larry off with a win. How cool is that to know that his last memory of the team he loved so much, was that of them beating the reigning champs in the house that he built!! RIP Larry!
