On the Pistons board we are talking about making a big offer for Milsap and then offering to take Boozer in a salary dump so Utah can keep him Milsap or force the Jazz into lux tax or even taking both players. The Pistons have the cap space to take any 2 of Okur, Sap, Boozer. My guess is that they get at least and this board seems to go back and forth as to which is most valuable.

If Milsap is going to sign for the MLE then the Pistons could take all 3 of them from the Jazz

 This guy...

Yeah, I"m not sure I'd pay Millsap 10M, someone can have him for that much. We're already overpaying AK, and we'll have to resign Brewer in the upcoming years, I don't want to lose him paying 45M to 4 frontcourt guys (included AK)

If Boozer doesnt opt out will there be any money to pay Milsap?? Im guesing you will keep him 7-8 but let him walk at 9-10 mil?? I simply cant guage the priorities of Jazz fans

Boozer wants Max
Okur wants 16mil
Milsap wants 10-12 mil

Pistons are willing to offer
Bozer 10-12
Okur 8-10
Milsap 8-10

Milsap is the only one who realy could get overpaid because of his age and still potential. I have always believed Jazz PFs look great for teh Jazz but arent as good in someone eleses system. Antoine Carr for example had a revival of his career in Utah. Im just trying to figure who you like an dwho you dont want to part with. I figure who ever the GM likes the most will be overapid and the other 2 will go to Detroit. Reading the Jazz fans I cant figure out who that is.

Okur will stay in Utah for less, I believe. I consider him loyal. Something about 8-10 millons will be right. We need to try to save Boozer if he shows some signs of loyality. If he's gone, stick to millsap and give more playing time to Kosta and Kirill. That's it. Make some trades (Miles, Collins) and we'll be alright.

Obvioulsy Millsap status will be dependant on what Okur and Boozer do and that will be largely dependant on what Boozer does in the playoffs. Another poor showing like last year and he wont be demanding the same amount of money and may even take up his player option.

But for now he is definately opting out and the Jazz priority should be to resign Boozer. Boozer will probably choose between Detroit and Utah.

I am thinking Okur and Korver will take up their options.

If Boozer stays, I think they offer Millsap a six year deal starting at $6.25m with a player option in year 5 or 6. That is a six year deal $46.875m or if Boozer leaves maybe a little.
