It's tough to watch two great organizations lose two great owners. Hopefully Larry and Bill are sharing a beer or something in heaven.

Re: RIP Larry H Miller
I am not a Utah Jazz fan, and most here know that, but I am a fan of basketball, and I would like to think that I am a fan who is fair when coming onto another teams board. I hated this entire saga that lead up to the end of Larry H. Miller's life. To me, it was a very sad ending to a very good story.
I hated seeing your team respond so well in response to his untimely death. You guys went on a fricking terror and got right back into the playoff hunt. If you regain that motivation, in my eyes, you are still one of the teams to watch out for in the playoffs. Larry, did a good job for Utah and fans of the Jazz during his time on this planet.
I grew up in podunk Idaho, and when I first started watching basketball, The Jazz were still in New Orleans. Denver was the local team on the cable network, and I have followed them ever since. But, most of the people I have lifelong relationships with are Jazz fans, so for me it is a very competitive rivalry. Although some of you may not see it as a rivalry because of the way you have owned us over the years, I would still like to think that on nights you beat us, it is a little bit more special to you then the common win. I know it is for me.
A week ago, I was pissed off at us losing that 6 game lead we had on you, but then life took over and I thought about the little 12 game terror you guys were on and it didn't really bother me so much. Batronuj was even on the Nuggets board hinting at something being wrong in our locker room, which I didn't buy into, we were having injury issues and our backup pg, hated as he is, was out of action. I knew when he returned we would start posting wins again. It didn't bother me that you guys were suddenly back in the hunt because of the story behind it. Larry Miller was a great owner who was loyal to his players, his coaches, and his city/state. Sure, he would call out a player every now and then, but I like that from an owner. It also wouldn't bother me to see Sloan get a championship ring as a Jazz coach, and I hope someday he does, but for now, I still hope we kick your ass and take home the jewelry

I'm sorry it took me this long to wish condolences upon the entire Utah Jazz (extended) family. I hope this really does light a fire under you guys because I recall you guys a few seasons ago to be primed for that next big jump. As if a 50-win season weren't impressive enough right? Let's go Jazz! You'll never hear that again from this Laker Fan!

Thanks, man.
In return, I can honestly say I hope Kobe doesn't get a STD unless we get the 8th seed.
Ok, I'm lying. Can't blame me for trying to be civil, though, can you?
Go David Sterns!!!!!
