Yeah. Talk about consistency...

Well it was from Knight getting in front of Paul, I didn't see Deron doing that :-?

And for everyone hating on Sloan, remember he left Boozer on the bench for the entire fourth which helped the Jazz build the lead.

Phil Johnson played Boozer for most of the fourth against Minnesota and it lost the Jazz the game.

SLoan really tried to lose this one in the 3rd, luckily Deron would let him. I mean come on. We were getting our asses handed to us in the 3rd quarter (+16 for NO) and Sloan didnt call a single TO. There were just the 2 TV timeouts and that was it. That is terrible coaching.

AK should have been starting for this team forever ago. Its clear that the AK off the bench experiment worked in the beginning of the season, but has lost its effectiveness. AK starting seemed to give this team a spark.

Sloan never let's an injury take away someones starting spot. So we'll have to deal with the Miles starting thing for another week or two.

Man..that was an awesome first half I really wish I had recorded that..hopefully someone will put the 1st half on youtube or something because that was nuts..the crowd was sitting on their hands lost.. Deron was pumping his fist/high fives laughing at Paul's expense right before the half, loved the tech fould Chris Paul got after that wrestling match...AK was shooting well, Matt harping took himself out after 8 flippin' minutes running out of gas    ... and even when Okur missed a 3 wide left he was still slam dunking the ball...Brewer was looking great with his shot going down over and over..

Even Knight impressed me with his control of the offence and staying in front of Paul with that 5th foul.. :D

That was soooo great....I'm also questioning the AK coming off the bench plan..it makes sense and did at the time, but talk about injecting some fire and energy in this team. CJ has some basketball driving skills and a 3 point threat but I wasn't missing him a whole lot this game..our rotation is a mess, it's going to be interesting what Sloan does playoff time because he was all over the place on subs.

**some of the negatives: Boozer is not defending worth squat..every time the double screen; Chris Paul would just run right around Boozer and he wouldn't even help..Deron was dealing with screens and a Boozer that just would not release. Frustrating :P. I like the part after the game when he was asked on tv about how Sloan was thinking of having him come off the bench and he responds "i'm a starter" (not if you keep playing D like that geez..work on your D boozer..we need that playoff time!)

We're not so bad, we're not so good either.

I said the same yestarday: Take a deep breath... don't feel we're better because we finally got it on the road against a western playoff team.... Hornets' the other western softy playoff team; not a coincidence the last game we won against a winning western team was @Hornets; we play the Hornets with the mental confidence that we know we have their number.... with the same mental state other teams face us...

Anyway, we were able to do something we didn't do some days ago... to build a huge lead an make the rival actually sweat for the comeback... this time they made a run but we made them pay some toll for the run and they were exhausted in the end... that's what you have to do when you build a good lead... I expect our guys to learn from it...

Let mee see how we do the next couple road games before decalre this Jazz team playoff ready...

A final note: What was the Hornet bradcasters comment when the Jazz build a 25+ lead? "Hornet's have not lost this game yet; make some stops AND I PROMISE THIS JAZZ TEAM WILL LET THEM COME BACK....." That's the idea the other teams have about us, the idea this team transpire on the court, and the reason why rival players seesm to gain huge amounts of confidence playing against us... We need to got it to tha Mavs and end our failure history @Spurs and play the Lakers harsh if we want to put an end to such a collective mental sense about the Jazz...

interesting but not surprising. we have no respect in the league. i think that says a lot about the lack of toughness this team plays with...

We really need to establish ourselves as the **** nobody wants to see in the playoffs. We had the image last year but our recent play has really diminished that.

Watched the first half, was expecting a meltdown in the 3rd but it's a good thing I fell asleep at half time. I wonder if stevebozell watched the game.

I didn't get a chance to watch to the game but the boxscore looked awesome. I think its pretty clear that the C.J experiment is over for the playoffs, he will be good coming off the bench as long as he accepts the idea and play with hopefully more energy. Maybe he will start to play with a chip on his shoulder and try and show the Jazz and the NBA just how good he can be. Boozer needs to wake up regardless of his injuries and problems off court. If he wants to get paid big money and to start he better prove that he can.

Great win for the teams confidence, need to watch those comebacks still but at least we held them off. We need to blow out either the Mavs or the Spurs to really be ready for the playoffs and to gain the respect of the other teams back.
